2005/6/19 Sunny
Today, we have visited Miho Hada, the resident who lives in Borderless-tokyo
Shinnakano guest house !
Miho is really bright and energetic ! 2 other sharemate, (Ben and
Kaicho ) helped us taking photo's and at the end, they formed a funny
pose that made us laugh ! It was a really excited day !
 |
It's a routine kind of question, but
what is the good part and the bad part about house sharing life? |
 |
Bad part?・・uh, there are so many good
points but lets see..., if I were to say it, sometimes it's
kind of noisey. But if it's noisey, I'll just tell the person
to keep the noise level down so it's not really distracting
at all. In the first place, if you don't like the noisey atmosphere,
don't live in a guesthouse is what I can say ! |
 |
By the way, what made you come to Borderless-tokyo
guest house? |
 |
I saw Borderless-tokyo's homepage through
a website called "roomer".When I saw it, I thought,
"This is it !" |
 |
I see you've been living here for more
than 1 year. What's good about Borderless-tokyo guest house? |
 |
All the residents who live in Borderless-tokyo
guest house passed the interview to stay here , so there's no
weirdos living in the same house and at the sametime, I often
meet with a lot of interesting people who I don't meet in general.
Everybody here are all nice people so in that meaning, I was
really lucky to chose Borderless-tokyo guest house.
|
 |
Is there any bad points in terms of
managment? |
 |
Ah-, yes. It's over so it's OK now but
when I first came to this guest house, I didn't recieve my rooms
key for one week. That was kind of unpleasent but it's ok. And
also,if they can, I would like the manager to attend when somebody
moves out of the house. We don't feel comfortable to know that
somebody already left the house even before anyone knew it.
And sometimes those people leave stuffs thats going to be disturbing
to us. I don't think anyone living in Borderless-tokyo will
do it but maybe someone might steel something on there way out.
|
 |
Yes, I've heard some story about thieves
in other guest houses.
OK, then, what can you say about your sharemates? |
 |
It might sound a little wierd if I use
the word "Family", but they mean more than just a
"friend"to me. Yes, they are probably the most family
kind of friends that I can count on. Even durring holidays and
I'm at my real familys house, I'll tell my sharemates, "I'm
coming home." and they'll reply, "Which one you're
talking about? Your real home or here?"Ha ha ha.They all
know more about me than my friends cause we live together, and
not to say that I don't need to do my makeup while I'm at home.
On the other hand, we all don't worry so much or officiousy
interfere like a real family does. So, in that meaning, it's
real easy going and comfortable staying here.
Of course their not my real family so everybody has to try to
be nice to eachother and that's a must. That's what I think
about me and my sharemates relationship. |
 |
What type of person you want to be a
sharemate? |
 |
Well...someone who can say their opinion
precisely ! And also someone who can point their opinion using
softer, nicer words. You know, in a well thought way. And someone
who can wipe their own but. Hahaha! |
 |
What about the type you don't want to
be your sharemate? |
 |
Someone who mentions about some incident
long after that happened ! Also, backbiters ! No way!! If you're
gonna say it somewhere, say it directly ! If you can't say it
directly, don't ever say it ! Hahaha. Also, someone who can't
consider for others' feelings. You don't always have to, but
in a share life, bottom line, you need to. |
 |
By the way, you have your own private
room now but you used to live in a dormitory type where several
people stay at one room? |
 |
No, I always chose a private room because
I know I can't live without having my own space. |
 |
I heard from your sharemate that once
you were a misanthropic type of person? |
 |
Yeah, It was really really bad. I
was like, "God, I hate everybody!! damn it! "Hahaha.
|
 |
Well you don't look like it now, but
when did you overcome that problem? |
 |
That's when I went to the states to
study. At America, I made a really special friend. Also, you
have to go out and speak in order to survive in the states cause
you're by yourself,right?
All the people living in the states are doing what they want
to do and it's bizzare to not do what you want to do and it's
funny to think about what other people are thinking about you.
Since when I was a little girl, a lot of people told me that
I'm different and I try to adjust and become the same like everybodyelse
by hiding my real feelings. That's because if I distinguish
myself too much, someone might come to me again and start teasing
that I'm different from others. But originaly, people are different
from one another and I like doing what I wish to do, so I start
chosing what I really want And from then onwards, I started
to like myself and the others !.(Smile) |
 |
Is that so ! By the way is there anything
that you are hooked on at the moment? |
 |
I'm interested in outgoing transmission.
Until now, I was the type of person who was just always thinking
in my head. Whatever I studied, saw, heard, went into my head,
but didn't have a place where I can release it, so now I'm attending
a school where I can become a writer. I've interest in writing
so now I'm starting to write essays and in the future, I wish
that I can make a living out of this. At the moment, I'm working
as a part time publisher for a internet website magazine and
I'm the chief there. |
 |
Sounds interesting ! |
 |
Yes !But there are times I can't sleep
! On the day off, I work on my homework for my school, and also
think and write about a project protocol for the webmagazine
and you know what? It's really fun ! I even like the times when
I'm struggling to think about what I need to write for the homework
! I'm like, "Oh, no!! No plans comming out from my brain!!"
But it's fun.
Until now, I didn't know what I realy wanted to do, and I was
always frustrated about it. When I found this school, I just
thought about jumping into it. No, thinking, cause I've done
it so much already and it was time to make the action. And after
I dived into the world of writing and the more I done something,
the more I realized the joy of creating something with everybody.
Of course it's not easy, but the more I did , the more I see
that this was what I was looking for.
In the future, I wish I can work in an overseas publishing company.
It doesn't have to be for a long time, but if you live oversea,
I believe that you can level yourself up too!. |
 |
I hope your dream will become true.
OK, last question.tell us your favorite word. |
